Before A Knight on Wolf Island became a novel, Ray Tigerman was already telling stories through paint.

Lone Wolf brings those two worlds together.

The original painting was inspired by the same dark imagery that runs through the novel: the wilderness, the isolation, and the unsettling possibility that the creature watching from the trees may be something other than what it appears to be.
